The Sennheiser EW 100 G4-ME3 is an easy-to-set-up rackmount wireless headset microphone system that brings high-quality, reliable audio to presenters, clergy, lecturers, and performers working in business and educational settings, houses-of-worship, theaters, or on musical stages.

The EW 100 G4-ME3 features a true diversity, half-rack receiver housed in a rugged, full-metal chassis. The receiver's auto-scan function searches a wide 46 MHz UHF tuning range with 1840 selectable frequencies available, seeking out a clean, interference-free channel for your audio transmission.

This system comes with an ME 3-II cardioid headset microphone, which is comfortable to wear and optimized for speech intelligibility. The bodypack transmitter provides up to 8 hours of operation on two AA batteries, with a fixed 30mW RF power output and a transmission range up to 330'. Up to 12 wireless mics can operate simultaneously in the same space, with the receivers linked together for fast, multi-channel frequency setup.

The EW 100 G4-ME3 is backward-compatible with previous evolution systems. You can mix and match G4/G3/G2/G1 receivers or bodypack, handheld, and plug-on transmitters. It is also compatible with EW 300/500 systems.

Features

  • The ME 3-II headset microphone features a directional cardioid polar pattern that helps to reject unwanted feedback sound, making it ideal in environments with loud sound reinforcement.
  • The headset plugs into the locking 3.5mm connection on the compact SK 100 G4 bodypack transmitter. The adjustable input sensitivity on the transmitter accommodates mic levels ranging from booming voices to quiet speech, and even line-level audio.
  • The robust, metal EM 100 receiver offers a high-contrast, black and white LCD. The display uses a streamlined menu system with a dedicated Escape button for quick menu navigation and shows battery status of the associated transmitter.
  • The system features 20 fixed frequency banks with up to 12 compatible frequency presets and 1 user bank with up to 12 user-programmable frequencies.
  • The detachable antennas with BNC sockets allow you to create a larger system using up to four EM 100 receivers connected to a single pair of remote antennas. This setup requires the ASA 214 active antenna splitter (available separately).
  • Sennheiser offers a variety of lavalier, headset, and handheld microphone options to adapt your EW system as your needs evolve.
  • The discrete ME 2-II and MKE 2 lavalier mics provide exceptional clarity in spoken word applications.
  • The SKM 100 handheld transmitter is available with three different mic capsule options for presenters and performers who prefer the flexibility of a handheld microphone.
  • The Ci 1 instrument cable lets you connect the bodypack transmitter to a guitar or bass.
