Suitable for use in various settings, the matte white Bowers & Wilkins M-1 2-Way Bookshelf Speaker can handle 20 to 100W of power from your amplifier and is equipped with a 3.94" mid-woofer and a 0.98" tweeter. They have a frequency response of 64 Hz to 23 kHz and can be used in any channel location. Its included stand, which houses the wiring point, allows a range of adjustments and enables the speaker to be placed either vertically or horizontally for use as a center speaker.
Designed for Enhanced Versatility
The M-1 can be used on a shelf, wall-mounted using the included hardware, or on optional floorstands. It can even be positioned horizontally for use as a center channel speaker.
Tube-Loaded Tweeter
Made by the same designers that created the CM Series, the tweeter in the M-1 is tube-loaded. The tube is engineered to soak up unwanted resonance from the back of the tweeter to help produce detailed, precise audio from the front.
Anti-Resonance Plug
The mid-woofer features the Bowers & Wilkins Anti-Resonance Plug, an acoustic innovation designed for the PM1 speaker. Made from polymer foam, the mushroom-shaped device is engineered to soak up resonance while also reducing cone break-up, enhancing clarity and detail in the midrange.
Cabinet Design
The clamshell cabinet is formed from two interlocking, continuously curving sections, providing a minimum of noise-inducing seams, joints, and discontinuities to help provide a rigid, well-damped, air-tight design.
Cable Management
The signal cable is routed into the table stand, where the signal reaches the speaker via a pre-wired arm support.
Dispersion Angles
Audio is dispersed over a 60° horizontal arc and over a 10° vertical arc.
