Behringer has fitted the DX2000USB with a serious monitor section. When in "Split" position, you hear the PFL (Pre-Fader Listen) output on the left side of your phones, and the Master signal on your right. If "Stereo" mode is more your thing, you can turn the MIX control fully counterclockwise to hear the channel PFL signal in both sides of your headphones, fully clockwise to hear the Master output, or you can "mix" both signals by adjusting the control to anywhere in-between. The Pioneer DJ DJM-V10-LF removes the crossfader and extends the channel faders for more volume precision. Some DJs prefer to use the channel faders over the crossfader, as they offer more control to perform smooth blends with tiny adjustments to the volume of each track, or quickly drop sounds into the mix as if playing a musical instrument.

Removing the crossfader from the DJM-V10 affords the updated 60 mm shaft slide faders on the DJM-V10-LF to extend further down the top plate, offering a longer range of movement for better volume control of audio sources. What's more, an updated fader curve setting has been added to the unit and the faders have been appropriately weighted to enhance the potential offered by their elongated range.

Many enhancements have been made to the V10-LF including a complete redesign of the mixer's interface, which now includes a 4-band EQ, dedicated high-pass or low-pass filters with resonance, and send FX on each channel.
